Altree: The Alternative To Trees
Altree is a new plastic lumber composite made from pine or juniper wood fibers and recycled plastic milk bottles. It offers many benefits compared to solid wood for meeting your non-structural outdoor needs. No more expensive to purchase than plywood, Altree saves you money with its low maintenance and replacement costs.
Altree: The Environmentally Friendly Plastic Wood
  • Uses all parts of pine, juniper, or invasive shrubs, including bark, branches, and needles
  • Uses trees that must be cleared to reduce risk of catastrophic wildfires
  • Removal and use of invasive woody shrubs restores watershed quality
  • Provides an economically viable use for recycled thermoplastics
  • Reduces waste buried in landfills
